We have the following coaching vacancies for the 2017 sports seasons:

- Rugby 2nd XI and Under 14 Boys Coaches - We are seeking forwards and backs coaches for our 2nd XV and Under 14 Boys teams.
- Cricket 2nd XI Boys Coach - Coach required to look after this team in Term 1 and 4. Tues/Thurs training and Saturday morning games.
- Football Coaches - Coaches are required for Boys and Girls teams who play competitions in Terms 2 and 3.
- Netball Coaches - Coaches are required for Senior and Junior teams who play in Terms 2 and 3.

New Sports at MRGS starting this Term - Archery and Waka Ama. We are on the search for more people to sign up to these exciting new sports. Get the word around your friends.
We are aiming for 75 students to take part in Archery, training will start on the backfield soon with the opportunity of competing in Term 1 next year. All equipment and training is provided.
With Waka Ama we would like two crews of 7 students. Training will begin soon with Mr Cornes (former NZ Waka Ama representative) with the help of Tui Tonga Waka Ama Club based out of Mangere Bridge. The competition is early in Term 1 next year.

A massive congratulations to Leilani Fuikefu for making the Auckland Womens Rugby 7's Development Team. Leilani is heading over to Japan with the team, next week, to compete in a tournament. This is an outstanding achievement as Leilani has only been playing rugby for 1 year! ...
